KOTA KINABALU LODGING HOUSE

Lodging house in Kota Kinabalu is very popular among tourists  who are travelling on their own without travel agents assistance.In Kota Kinabalu city, this type of accomodation is highly concentrated along the Gaya Street. Some of lodging house in Kota Kinabalu offers facilities almost similar to that of being offered by a budget hotel.The presence of newly set up cafe and internet centers   has made travel more convenient for those staying at a lodging house along the Gaya Street.

In this posting,I'd like to share my personnal experience with regards to lodging house.This happened to me while I was in Sandakan.Lured by an advertisement in a printed pamphlet, I tried to locate the said lodging house which is 150km away from Sandakan city.Finally after driving for 2 hours , I manage to locate the advertised lodge .However it is very frustrating as the lodge is situated very next to a grave yard!
The scene immediately killed my appetite for fun.Of course the grave yard is not shown in the advertisement.At that time, I come to know why the lodge picture in the pamphlet advertisement in taken during night time..It is luring but very deceiving.As a  Sabahan, I can personnaly say  that those lodging houses in Kota Kinabalu is  as good as it seen.No cheap trick is being played to camouflage any shortcoming.Finally,it is my wish that what had happened to me will not happen to others who wish to come and visit Sabah.My message for them is go for details.Don't get cheated.
